The 24th International Exhibition of Triennale Milano, titled Inequalities and open to the public from May 13 to November 9, 2025, addresses the urgent and political issue of growing inequalities in cities and the contemporary world.

Following the themes of sustainability (Broken Nature in 2019) and the mysteries of the universe (Unknown Unknowns in 2022), the 24th International Exhibition concludes this trilogy by focusing on the human dimension with a collective project. Through exhibitions, installations, special projects, and public program events, it explores global challenges linked to differences in economic, ethnic, geographic, and gender aspects of human existence.

An Ethical Vision of Building

Faresin Formwork, an Italian company with over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing formwork and construction solutions, participates in the 24th International Exhibition of Triennale Milano by supporting Cities, a thematic exhibition curated by Nina Bassoli, architecture, urban regeneration, and city curator at Triennale Milano. The exhibition portrays the city as a complex, layered, and ever-evolving system, reflecting on urban and social inequalities of our time.

Faresin Formwork contributed to the creation of installations that form the urban skeleton of the city and symbolic skyscrapers by providing modular systems that reinterpret the language of contemporary architecture in a constructive way.

The presence at Triennale is part of a broader cultural and industrial project: for years, the company has been promoting a culture of building that intertwines technology, sustainability, and social impact. Aware that engineering choices have a direct impact on quality of life and public space organization, Faresin Formwork considers the dialogue between industry, design, and culture essential to addressing contemporary living challenges. The construction system is not just a production process but a driver of urban and social transformation.

“Innovating today also means listening to the needs of communities. For us, building is a human act before being a technical one: every engineering solution must contribute to creating more equitable, dignified, safe, and livable environments.” – Chiara Faresin, Executive Director of Faresin Formwork.

In a context marked by economic disparities, spatial segregation, and environmental crises, the need to conceive the cities of the future as spaces designed for and with people from the early stages of the process becomes increasingly urgent. Through its contribution to Cities, Faresin reaffirms its commitment to promoting a construction supply chain that integrates industrial skills and cultural vision, aiming to make cities more open, accessible, and focused on collective well-being.
